Chiropractic
Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventative care. Our team of chiropractors have evolved from traditional chiropractic therapy to include treatments such as active release technique (ART), soft tissue therapy, contemporary medical acupuncture, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, performance taping, manipulation, and functional rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy
As a primary caregiver, a physiotherapist can assess, diagnose, and treat your injury through a combination of methods that may include: manual therapy; manipulation; acupuncture; modalities such as ultrasound, laser and heat; and/or exercise prescription. Education plays an important role in physiotherapy. The goal of physiotherapy is to return you to your optimal function and strength, while educating you about your injury. This allows you to independently maintain a healthy body without the constant supervision of a therapist.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a manual form of therapy which emphasizes the interrelationship between structure and function of the human body. It follow a belief in the body's ability to self-heal and self-regulate when free from any obstructions, restriction of motion or bony mal-alignment. It focuses on the root cause of pain and dysfunction rather than just the symptoms. This form of therapy looks at the body as a single, integrated unit and through structural manipulation can encourage nervous, circulatory and lymphatic flow as well as have effects on a wide variety of issues such as, but not limited to: back pain, nerve pain, muscle pain, headaches, digestive problems, and repetitive strain injuries. Because of osteopathy's principle to view the body as a whole, gentle manipulation treatment can benefit any person experiencing any type of discomfort or ailment.
